Simon, Maurice
(1874-1955)
   South African Hebraist and translator, brother of Leon Simon. He was born in Manchester. He moved to South Africa and later was associated with the Soncino Press. He was the co-translator into English of the Zohar and Midrash Rabbah, and helped with the Soncino translation of the Talmud.
